Tough Time for Nurse Grads

It saddens me that there are many recent grads in healthcare and that few facilities are willing to give them an opportunity. While I do understand that it's a matter of investing time and money into someone who may take off within months, healthcare is sorely in need of nurses. Few nurses are interested in teaching because teaching does not pay as well as other areas of nursing, so though there may be men and women interested in becoming nurses getting into nursing school is not easy. Although I need experienced RNs and LPNs I am always willing to try to get work for the nubies. Things are even tougher given the economic climate of today.
