We are tied to our social media profiles with email address, user names, and passwords. The chain of communication can be tiring as the importance of an online presence increases. At this time, do you take for granted your access to all your profiles and the ease with which you are able to enter them? If I can extol any advice, let it be this: do not take it for granted.

I am currently engaged with a client who had an intern over the summer that managed his business' Facebook page. She returned to university in Arizona some time ago but the task of transferring data, changing the user name / email address, as well as the password(s) has turned into a treacherous and formidable task. I know what you are thinking... it's easy, just go to settings and alter them. Easier said than done, as the username/email address no longer exists that created the profile, try confirming a change without access to the confirmation code.

All will be righted, I am sure. After having had my email address hacked into three times over the last year, I am a little surprised at how difficult it has been to update information and create a more secure profile on this popular social media site. I have had no issues in the past with updating or changing other profiles or user details, this one just seems to have a glitch. I have spent a couple hours on hold and it looks like I may have a couple more hours of wait time. Good thing I am patient and not compelled to violence.

Thanks, you gave me CSMD! It certainly wasn't what I was looking for when we met, yet, here I am, with about the worst case of it around. Eventhough you gave it to me, I'm in a more advanced stage of this disease I think because I do 95% of my SMing from my iPhone. I recently even remember someone (name being withheld to protect the guilty) calling me an "iPhone whore". I guess I didn't mind because, as the say, the shoe fits. I'm not sure how I existed before. I love having so much power in the palm of one hand!
